HVAC Systems: Testing pursuant to VDI 6022
Badly designed and poorly maintained HVAC systems can be detrimental to our health
To prevent negative effects of HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning systems) the VDI (Association of German Engineers) guideline 6022 stipulates hygiene inspections at regular intervals.
The inspections include an independent assessment of your HVAC system and all air-conditioned rooms. Also included are: Microbiological examinations of the filter-, channel or heat exchanger surfaces of feed, cooling and humidifying water as well as of the air within the HVAC system and/ or corresponding rooms. The examinations are done in comparison to ambient air. In addition, physical atmospheric parameters such as air temperature, humidity and air velocity are determined in various areas of the HVAC system.
- On completion of all examinations you receive a detailed report describing the hygienic and technical condition of your HVAC system.
- For new installations of HVAC systems we provide an independent hygiene inspection according to VDI guideline 6022.
