Human Toxicology

Adverse effects of chemical substances on humans

Human toxicology examines the adverse effects of chemical substances on the human body. The toxicity of a substance depends on its mechanism of action and the ingested amount or concentration. Only a substantiated assessment of the coherencies of environmental factors and human health can provide a basis for politics and society in order to preserve intact environmental conditions and living situations.
